This set of needlepoint patterns is sure to be useful for those who want to tie a warm new look to their beloved husband or son. Like other needlepoint patterns, the men’s pattern can be used for knitting clothing as well as for knitting stylish men’s accessories. Most of them are also suitable for knitting children’s clothing.

male spokes

All patterns in the collection have a relief structure and a simple pattern, made of face and lining loops. Most of them have double-sided patterns, i.e. look the same on both sides, or the reverse side of the pattern can be used as a separate pattern.

Taking into account the conservatism of men in the choice of knitted clothing, I will probably start with the relief patterns in a cell.

The simplest variant of the cell pattern is the chess pattern and its various variations, more about it, in the collection Chess pattern: types and schemes. Here, I propose to consider other options for knitting relief patterns with cells.

cube pattern scheme

(CUBIC) pattern scheme description: pattern report of 10 loops and 12 rows in height. Only the face rows are shown in the diagram, and the hinges are knitted along the fabric pattern in the seam rows.

To knit a sample CUBIC pattern, enter the number of loops multiple of 10 + 2 edge loops (no edge loops shown in the diagram) and knit according to the diagram:

1st row: all face loops;

2nd row: all lining loops;

3rd and 11th row: *1 persons, 8 persons, 1 person*, repeat from * to * the required number of times;

4th and 12th rows: *1 Exile, 8 persons, 1 Exile *;

5th, 7th and 9th row: *1 person, 2 persons, 4 persons, 2 persons, 1 person *;

6th, 8th and 10th row: *

As you can see, the pattern is very simple and even an inexperienced knitter can cope with it, and the resulting pattern will have to face many men.

Next, Cell Pattern , knitting is even easier, see pattern diagram.

checkered pattern pattern

Description of the checkered pattern pattern: pattern report of 7 loops and 12 rows in height, and in the seamy rows it is absolutely not necessary to follow the pattern, and knit all the loops seamy..

For knitting a pattern pattern, type a number of loops multiple of 5 + 2 edges (not shown in the diagram), and knit as shown in the diagram:

1st and 3rd row: *1 ex., 5 persons, 1 ex. *, repeat from * to * the required number of times;

2nd and all lining rows: all the loops are knitted with lining;

5th, 7th, 9th and 11th rows: *

Repeat the pattern from the 1st to the 12th rows until the desired length of the fabric is reached.

Cell Pattern 2 , also has a very simple

cell pattern 2

pattern 2

knitting pattern 2

For knitting pattern 2, type in a number of loops on the spokes multiple of 9 loops + 2 edge loops (the pattern does not indicate the edge loops) and knit according to the pattern:

1st row: *1 out., 7 persons, 1 out. *, repeat from * to * the required number of times;

2nd row: *1 persons, 7 out., 1 person.

3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th row: *

4th, 6th, 8th and 10th row: *

As you can see, there is nothing complicated, only facial and seamy loops alternating in a certain way. Repeat the pattern from the 1st to the 10th row, according to the scheme, and you will succeed!

The cellular relief of the next pattern is formed by alternating the pattern of confusion and 2×3 rubber bands. Looking at the pattern scheme, it seems difficult, but it is necessary to start knitting it, and all at once becomes clear MEN'S NEEDLEPOINT PATTERNS.

the scheme of a pattern of an elastic band with a confuse

the description of the scheme of a pattern of an elastic band with a confuse: pattern report of 14 loops and 24 rows in height, with the upper 12 rows of pattern are the same, the lower 12 rows of pattern, only with the displacement of the pattern by 7 loops, so the offset pattern and forms a plaid pattern texture.

To knit a pattern, type a number of loops multiple of the 14 loops + 1 loop for pattern symmetry + 2 edge loops (not shown in the pattern) and knit according to the pattern:

1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th row: *2 ex., 2 persons, 7 loops with the pattern of confusion (1 ex., 1 person, the pattern shifts in each row), 2 persons, 1 ex. * Repeat from * to * the required number of times and finish 1 ex.;

2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th row: 1 person, *1 person…, 2 persons…, 7 loops with the pattern of confusion, 2 persons… *;

12th and 24th rows: all the loops are seamy;

13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st and 23rd rows: *4 loops with the pattern of confusion (1 person, 1 person, 1 person with displacement in each row), 2 persons, 3 persons, 2 persons, 3 loops with the pattern of confusion (1 person, 1 person, 1 person, 1 person)*, 1 person;

14th, 16th, 18th, 20th and 22nd row: 1 person.., *3 loops with the pattern of confusion (1, 1, 1, 1), 2, 3, 2, 4 loops with the pattern of confusion (1, 1, 1, 1) *;

Repeat the pattern according to the pre.
a false scheme from the 1st to the 24th rows until the correct length is reached.

On the basis of the tangled pattern, other relief patterns are also knitted. For example, pattern of Kirpichi , combines the pattern of confusion (1×1 with the offset in each row) and pieces of transversal rubber band (2p.x2p.), see pattern diagram

pattern diagram bricks

Description of pattern diagram Kirpichi: pattern report 14 loops and 20 rows in height, as in the previous version of the upper rows of the scheme = the lower rows, only with the displacement of the pattern by 7 loops.

To knit a pattern pattern pattern, type a number of loops on the spokes multiple of 14 + 1 loop for pattern symmetry + 2 edge loops (not shown in the pattern), and knit according to the pattern:

1st, 5th and 9th row:

2nd, 6th and 10th rows: 1 Ex., *3 Ex., 7 loops with confusion pattern (1 Ex…), 3 persons. * Repeat from * to * required number of times and finish the row of 1 person:

2nd, 6th and 10th rows: 1 Ex., *3 Ex., 7 loops with confusion (1 Ex…, 1 person..,…), 4 outcasts *;

, 3rd and 7th rows: *4 out., 7 out., 7 out., 1 out., 1 person…), 3 out… *, 1 out.;

, 4th and 8th rows: 1 person, *

in the 11th row the pattern shifts to 7 loops:

in the 11th, 15th and 19th rows: *4 loops confused (1 person, 1 person, 1 person, 1 person…), 7 persons, 3 loops confused (1 person, 1 person, 1 person…)*, 1 item confused – facial;

12th, 16th and 20th row: 1 person,

13th and 17th row: *4th row of loops (1 person, 1 person, 1 person, 1 person), 7 persons, 4 loops confused (1 person, 1 person, 1 person) *

13th and 17th row: *4 loops confused (1 person, 1 person, 1 person) 1 Ex.,…), 7 ex., 3 loops confused (1 ex., 1 person, 1 ex.)*, 1 person;

, 14th and 18th row: 1 person, *3 loops confused (1 person, 1 ex…, 1 person, 1 person, 1 person), 7 persons, 4 loops confused (1 person, 1 person, 1 person…);

Repeat the pattern, according to the scheme, from the 1st to the 20th row.

male spokes

Just like plaid patterns, embossed patterns with rhombuses and zigzags are very popular with men. Most of these patterns consist of facial and seamy patterns only, see the diagrams below.

The pattern of relief rhombuses consists of alternating motifs of the facial and seamy surfaces, the rhombuses themselves are marked by stripes of rice knitting. The pattern is double-sided, i.e. it looks exactly the same on both sides.

embossed diamond pattern

Description of the embossed diamond pattern: pattern report of 16 loops and 36 rows in height. The diagram shows only the face rows, knit the hinges in the seamy rows according to the pattern.

The rhombus mix pattern is made up of small rhombushes, a seamy surface and a rice knitting pattern arranged in a certain order. Pattern report 16 loops and 32 rows in .
the altitude. Only the face rows are shown on the diagram, knit loops along the fabric pattern in the seamy rows. The original side of the pattern will look slightly different and can be used as a separate pattern. When knitting a pattern sample, add 1 loop to the report for symmetry as shown in the diagram + 2 edge loops (not shown in the diagram).
